I work as a full-stack developer at a metallurgy company by day and ship side projects by night. I started CompareDev because every “best AI coding tool” article I read in 2025 read like a press release: anonymous authors, no citations, vendor talking points dressed up as opinions. So I built the opposite — a comparison site that synthesizes verifiable public data (vendor pricing pages, status pages, G2 + Reddit + HN sentiment), recommends a winner per persona, and cites every fact with a public URL and a capture date. No fabricated benchmarks, no fake testing claims.
